Do you have suggestions on how we can improve our sites?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Add additional navigation items to the "User Profile" Edit page

    Currently there is only a [Save} button on the profile edit page. The user must click on the Administration navigation bar to exit the user's profile.

    -To improve workflow, add two new buttons:
    [Save] [Save and Return to List] [Cancel]

    -The [Save] button should remain the primary option with the blue fill color.The other options should have the typical gray fill color.

  3. Need the ability to add Maintenance notes to an item in the inventory

    Add Maintenance notes:

    -Without editing the whole item and "Adding History"
    or
    -Checking it out to Maintenance.

  4. Add the ability for a user to choose which Tab will be the first page after Login.

    The user can choose a Tab other than the Homepage to be the default landing page.

    ex: When I login to my VirtualCallboard account, I want to be first taken to the schedule.

  6. I want to see when a user's account was created.

    It would be great to see when a user was created: Date and Time. I think the information should be listed on the User's profile page, under the "Last Login" information.

    This would be nice for knowing how long the person has been a user.

  7. Create a clearer Printed view of the calendar

    The printer friendly views of the schedule should list the Production name somewhere at the top. If set to "All Productions," list that, if "All My Productions," list that.

    (Also hide the abbreviations and production names when a single production is selected.)

  8. Better file picker for discussions

    Discussions: add ability to search and choose files from thumbnails, in addition to check box list.

  9. Add the ability to edit a Files "Production"

    It would be nice to be able to change the assigned Production when editing files. Currently if you add files to the wrong production, you have to delete the files and re-add them. This can be frustrating when it was a large number of files.

    Maybe this could be an advanced Permission setting?

  10. When saving a call, it would be nice to have a "Save and Return to Call" option

    After saving a call, it would be nice if the box that appears with the options "Add Similar", "Add new", "Return to Schedule" also had a "Return to Call" option.

  11. Attendance notification

    Add site option for attendance:
    When I enter the attendance, I want the system to automatically email sent user that was not on time, or marked Left Early.

    Maybe this is a send notification check box, like on Post discussion Reply.

  14. View Only

    I Would like to have an option in File Share: A setting that allows me to choose to only allow users to "View Only" Images and PDFs. This would prevent them from downloading the specific files.
    (This would be great for scripts)

  15. Add the ability for a user to choose a different color theme for their site.

    Individual members could choose to change the background color of their specific VirtualCallboard/StageStock site session.

    Also add the ability for a site administrator to change the organizations default color theme.

  16. Additional Item Navigation

    While "Viewing" or "Editing" items, it would be nice to be able to go to the next, or previous item.

  17. Add the ability to store custom information on the user's profile

    As an administrator:
    I would like the ability to add custom fields to the User Profile record.
    examples: ID number, Hire Date, Birth Date, Shirt Size, etc.

  18. Quick Directors'/Managers' Notes

    As a director, I would like a quick way to enter my notes into the system and specify which users or groups are to receive that note. Some kind of predictive text entry would be best so that during a tech or run I can quickly input a note, the quickly create a new line without taking my hands off the keyboard.

    Maybe a tagging system to attach the users?

  19. Create a living script that the Director and/or Stage Managers published notes would be available to the production's users.

    Maybe a place to see director’s script or stage manger’s script for blocking notes, so if someone misses rehearsal, there is a way to get those
