Do you have suggestions on how we can improve our sites?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

  1. Notes: Add a VirtualCallboard-Production permission option to prevent the user from sending a Note on the Notes & Email

    This would allow the site admin to regulate which users (by Production) can send notes to general users.

    All users would still have access to the [Message to Manager] button on the dashboard.

  2. Relocate the [Delete Report] button

    Remove the [Delete Report] button from the view report page.

    Move the button to the Edit Report page. This will be similar to the Call Delete work flow.

  4. Need to improve the text to background color relationship

    Some of the background colors have white text, even when the background color is lighter.

    "The Background color turquoise has a font color that is white."

  5. Default call types viewed in schedule

    As a manager, there should be a way to change which calls types show up automatically when I look at the schedule. For example, I would like the default view of the schedule to not contain my crew's conflicts. When there are a lot of conflicts, it takes a while for them to load. I have to wait for the conflicts to load and then I can turn them off, but it would be nice if they didn't have to load in the first place.

  8. Building calls, adding people to calls that don’t create conflicts

    Building calls, adding people to existing calls with a different call time, reflect it in the roll sheet.

    Say, you have a rehearsal from 6-10. Five actors are called at the top, three more are added at 7:30, the whole cast is called at 8:30. Make this an option within the call, and when you print the roll, it has it all on one page, broken into call times.

  9. Add season calendar.

    It would be great if we could look at a year long gant chart of the season. Not a new idea just adding it to the list for documentation.

  10. Is it possible to be able to attach a link under file sharing - for instance a video, or google doc...

    Would like to attach a link to working document (google sketch) or a video (youtube) but have them sorted and contained under file sharing.

  12. On the Conflict page: Add the ability to see all of a User's Unavailability.

    On the Conflicts page: Show the User's Calls as well as their Conflicts. As a Manager/Admin, I use this page to see if users are free or not. Currently, there is no way to easily see a single user's scheduled activities.

    This should also display Calls for Productions I am not involved with. In those situations, It should show the details in this table, but not allow me to get to the detail modal. (Similar to "Private Conflicts")

  14. Image Headers for Rehearsal Reports

    Customizable Headers for Rehearsal Reports! We are required to include the UA Theatre and Dance Header for legality in our department, but right now there is no way to do so online. This is keeping us from fully switching over from g-mail and google drive. Also, custom notifications??

  16. Add a Video viewer to VCB

    It would be useful if there was a video viewer in VCB. This would be similar to the PDF and Image viewers.

  17. On Contact sheets: have the User's name linked to the profile page.

    Users with the Permission to edit Other's Profiles, should be able to access the profiles from the contact sheet.

  19. It would be nice if clicking on the parent folder would automatically reveal the specific sub-folders.

    When a user clicks on the main folder "Production Designs, you would like the sub-folder list to automatically expand.
    -It would expand to show the "Sets" folder without clicking the arrow.
    -If the user clicked the open arrow, the sub-folders would be hidden.

  20. Include names of recipients in sent messages

    When sending Notes and Discussions, it would be good to have an option for including the names of who the note was sent to so the recipients can know who else got the note.
