File share without having to select production name twice
I created a head shot folder for our cast to upload photos. When they click File Sharing > Upload File > Save in Folder, the head shot folder does not show up. They have to back out of that, go back to the File Sharing screen, click "Production: All My Productions" and change it to [Current Production], then Upload File > Save in Folder. This is confusing because when they do File Sharing > Upload File, at the top it specifies [Current Production].

In our next release, this has been corrected on the website. In the upload modal. the folders will switch with the in window production selector.

What do you think we can do to improve the user-friendliness of the File Share feature?

File Share: Change the way Files are associated to users, add more flexibility.
Currently, Files can only be shared with Departments.
Add the ability to Share files with Roles, Groups, Departments.We are currently not looking at assigning specific "Users" to the files, but we are assigning "Roles"

Add a "Download" button to the Shared Files - Image Viewer
When in File Share: I click the [View] button, it opens the mage in a popup modal. It would be great if there was a button in the modal that allowed me to download the image, if it was one I wanted.
Currently I have to close the modal, then wait for the page to refresh before I can click the [Download] button.

Link to Shared Files.
Add the URL link to the "File Info" Modal. This will allow me to embed a link in a message or a report.

Add the ability to retrieve the URL link for a shared file.
This would be the same link that is emailed out in the "Shared File" notification.

As an administrator or manager, I need the ability to send/resend a link to an existing shared file.

Consider increase the file size limit for individual files
Please increase the file size limit to 50mb. 20 is too small for many set renderings, OCR and annotated scripts and marketing materials.

File Editing
It would be nice if when editing files, if you could change the subfolder that you put the file into. Right now you can only edit the description of the file.

Add the ability to Edit the Folder location of an existing "Shared Files".
As a user that shared a file, I would like the ability to go back and change the location of the file. I would like to not have to delete then reload the file.

Add the ability to create File Share folders that are assigned to a specific Production.
Ex: It would be nice to have only the folders for the active show show up in this list so you aren't trying to figure out what folders are created for your show and what belonged to past shows.

Add the ability to create sub-folders for the File Share folders.
Ex: I can create a research folder and put a lot of files in it, but it would be nice to be able to create sub-folders to organize the research files by category.
-Allow the sub-folders to be assigned to/available to ALL current and future Productions
-Allow the sub-folder to be assigned to a specific Production. These folders would only be available when the Production filter is set to the specific Production

You can now preview images and PDFs without downloading them.

-The ability to select more than one file at a time for upload.
-Maintain the ability to name the files, as well as use the file name if no name is specified.
-Use a progress bar to show status.
-Maintain the existing ability to save the file to a specific folder.
