Embed a YouTube or Vimeo video

Got a fight call walkthrough, a choreography reference or a welcome from the director? Put it where your company will actually see it. Any text box with the formatting toolbar can play a YouTube or Vimeo video right on the page, including Announcements, Discussions, the Login Announcement and a StageStock item's description.

  1. Open the Announcement, Discussion or item you want to add the video to.
  2. In the text box, click the small arrow to open the formatting toolbar, then click the video button (next to Link).
  3. Paste the video's YouTube or Vimeo link and click OK. The share link and the embed code both work.
  4. Save.

Unlisted YouTube videos work too, which is handy for rehearsal footage you don't want public. The video window also mentions Dailymotion, but only YouTube and Vimeo videos play on your site.
