How VirtualCallboard decides whether a notification goes by email or text

You don't choose per send. When you tick Send Notification, each person gets the message the way their own settings say, and if they've set up more than one way, they get both.

  • Email goes to anyone with Receive Email from Site set to Yes in My Account.
  • TXT message goes to anyone who has turned on TXT for a Mobile number and replied YES, as long as your site has TXT messaging and hasn't switched it off for that kind of notification.
  • App notification goes to anyone with app notifications on who is signed in on a phone.

Before you send, the send summary on the form shows how many people will be reached by email, text and app, and who won't get anything and why. Notes work the same way.
