Announcements or Notes & Email: which should I use?

An announcement is posted for everyone in the production (or productions) you pick, and it stays on their Announcements page until its expiration date. A note is a message you send to specific people or groups.

• Announcements are for things everyone should be able to find later: the rehearsal schedule policy, a parking reminder, a reminder to bring your own water bottle.
• Notes & Email goes straight to the people you choose, by email or TXT message, depending on each person's notification settings.

Posting an announcement sends a notification to the VirtualCallboard app, and a text if the person has TXT messaging turned on. It doesn't send email. People who don't use the app or TXT will only see it when they sign in, so for anything urgent, send a note too.
