Add a conflict for another user

Sometimes a cast member phones in their availability instead of entering it. If your role includes the Manage Conflicts for Another User permission (managers and administrators usually have it), you can enter it for them.

  1. Go to Schedule > Conflicts.
  2. Choose the production, pick the person from Select User, and click Add Conflict. Select User shows only if your role's All Calls setting is When viewing "All Calls", show all call types including Fittings and Conflicts. (managers and administrators usually have it).
  3. Fill in the Title, Notes and the days or times, just as in Add a conflict. A blank title becomes "Conflict."
  4. Click Save Conflict, then choose Add Similar, Add New or Return to List.

Private works the same way here. A private conflict hides its title and notes from other people, so only enter one for someone else if they've asked you to. You can edit and delete conflicts you enter for people as long as they're not private. Private ones are theirs to delete.

To see which roles have this permission, see How user roles and permissions work.
