Start a discussion

Start a discussion to talk something through with part of your company in one place, with replies kept together. You'll need a role that lets you start discussions: Add / Edit / Delete My Own Posts/Replies or Add / Edit / Delete Anyone's Posts/Replies. With Participate/Respond Only you can reply, but not start one.

  1. Go to Discussion and click New Post.
  2. Choose the Production and enter a Subject.
  3. Write your message in Post. The formatting toolbar adds styles and links.
  4. Under Select Users, pick people on the Users tab, or whole groups on the group tabs.
  5. To share files, choose existing ones under Attach Files or upload a new one.
  6. Tick Send notification to users (email, app and TXT) if you want them told right away.
  7. Click New Post.

Participants can reply to the main post and to any reply, with Post Reply. To change who's in the discussion later, open it and click Add/Remove Users.
