Delete a group
You can delete a group when you no longer need it, like a cast list from a show that's closed. You'll need the Manage Groups permission for the production, which managers and administrators usually have.
- Go to Administration > Production Administration.
- Click the cog on the production's row and choose Manage User Groups.
- Open the tab that holds the group, then click the edit icon beside its name.
- Click Delete.
- Read the confirmation, then click Delete again to confirm. Click Back or Cancel if you change your mind.
The group disappears from your list. Deleting a group has two effects, and both are spelled out in the confirmation: access to files shared with the group is removed, and the group and its people are taken off every call they were attached to. The people themselves stay on the production.
Each group belongs to one production, or to All Productions if it's site-wide, so delete the one in the production you're working in.
