Edit a group
🔵 VirtualCallboard
Add someone to a group, take them out, or rename the group from Production Administration. Groups, like users, belong to one production.
You'll need the Manage Groups permission for that production. Managers and Administrators usually have it.
- Open Production Administration from the menu.
- On the production's row, click the gear button under Actions and choose Manage User Groups.
- Find the group and click the edit (pencil) icon beside it.
- Change the Name, or check and uncheck people. They're listed under their departments.
- Click Next.
- Check the Users Added and Users Removed lists. Under Update Calls, pick the date and time the change should start applying to calls. Calls before that moment keep the old group.
- Click Save.
The window closes and the updated group is ready to pick.
Two things to know. People you add or remove also gain or lose access to that group's discussions and shared files. And notes you've already sent don't change; only new notes use the updated group.
Groups can be edited any time.
