Add User or Reactivate User buttons don't respond

If Add User or Reactivate User does nothing when you click it, it's almost always the browser. Try these in order.

  1. Reload the page and try again.
  2. Use a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Internet Explorer isn't supported.
  3. Open the site in a private or incognito window. If the buttons work there, a browser extension is getting in the way.

If the buttons aren't on the page at all, that's your role, not your browser. Add User needs the Add User permission, and Reactivate User needs Deactivate / Reactivate Users. Both are in the Administrative — Common roles. Ask a site Administrator, or see User Roles & Permissions.
