Emails look broken for some recipients

If a notification or note looks fine for some recipients and broken for others, the usual cause is formatting pasted in from another document, such as a font some email apps don't have. When an email app can't show the font, the message can fall apart.

  1. Select the pasted text in the text editor and click Remove Format on the formatting toolbar (the T with a small x).
  2. Or paste it again with Paste as plain text, then format it in the text editor.
  3. If you want a different font, choose a standard one like Arial from the Font menu, then send again.

If it still looks broken, send a screenshot of the broken email, and the name of the email app it was opened in, to support@theemptyspace.com.
