Use your own barcodes in StageStock

Yes, you can keep your existing barcodes. StageStock gives each item an ID automatically, and that ID is what its barcode carries, but you can replace it with your own.

1. Open the item and click Edit.
2. Type your barcode number into the ID field.
3. Save the item.

Scanning that barcode then finds the item. Use letters, numbers, hyphens and periods; StageStock strips out other characters. The page also shows whether an ID is available.
