Notifications in VirtualCallboard
🔵 VirtualCallboard
How Notifications Work
VirtualCallboard notifications are tied to individual user accounts. Each user controls whether they receive notifications and how those notifications are delivered.
Notifications may be delivered via:
Email (from the VirtualCallboard system)
Push notifications (mobile app)
Text message (SMS) notifications are not currently supported.
Email Notifications (Web Browser)
Email notifications are enabled through your user profile when logged in via a web browser.
To turn on email notifications:
Click your profile image or select My Account.
Navigate to the Addresses sub-tab.
Enable Receive Email from Site.
When enabled, VirtualCallboard may send email notifications for:
Calls (when email notifications are enabled on the individual call)
Discussions
Reports
Notes
If this setting is turned off, you will not receive system emails, even if notifications are generated.
Mobile App Notifications
Notification preferences are not managed inside the VirtualCallboard mobile app.
To receive notifications on a mobile device:
Open your device’s system settings
Locate the VirtualCallboard app
Confirm that notifications are enabled
If notifications are disabled at the device level, the app will not display alerts.
Text Messaging
Text message (SMS) notifications are not currently available. All notifications are delivered via email and/or app notifications, depending on your settings.
If You Are Not Receiving Notifications
If you are not receiving expected notifications:
Confirm Receive Email from Site is enabled in your profile
Check your device’s notification permissions for the mobile app
Verify which notification type you are expecting (Calls, Discussions, Reports, or Notes)
Check spam or junk folders for system emails
If issues persist, contact your site’s Manager or Administrator, or reach out clearly describing which notifications you are missing.
