An open call closed before it was full
🔵 VirtualCallboard
An open call is full when every spot has been taken, and then it drops off everyone's list of calls to accept. If yours filled up with spots still left, you can reopen it and tell us what happened.
Reopen the call
You'll need Add / Edit / Delete All Calls, or Add / Edit / Delete My Calls for a call you created.
- Open the call on the schedule and click Edit.
- Under Open or Closed Call, choose Open Call. A full call shows as Closed Call when you open it.
- On the Invited Users step, set Number of people allowed to sign up to the number of spots still open. People who already accepted stay on the call.
- Click Next through the remaining steps and click Save.
Why it might close early
Each Accept uses one spot, and the call closes at zero. If the number was set lower than you meant, or a call was edited after people accepted, it can fill sooner than expected. If neither explains it, the details below help us track it down.
What to send us
Email support@theemptyspace.com with:
- The call's title, production and date
- The number of spots it was set to, and how many people accepted
- About when it closed
- Whether it was new, recently edited or part of a repeating series
- Whether people accepted on the website or in the app
- A screenshot, if you have one
