Choose who receives messages to management

Choose who receives a production's messages to management, and you decide who hears from the cast and crew when they use Send Message to Manager. You'll need the Assign Users to Production permission for that production, or Add/Edit Productions and Assign Users. (The permission chart shows which role includes them.)

  1. Go to Administration > Production Administration.
  2. In the production's Actions column, click the gear icon and choose Designate Managers.
  3. Under Receives Messages to Management, check each person who should receive them. The list shows the people assigned to that production.
  4. Click Save Changes.

Those people now get messages sent to the production's managers. They're also the ones notified when someone enters a conflict, as long as Notify managers when users enter conflicts is on in Site Administration > Notifications.

Aim for at least two, so a message doesn't wait on one person's day off. Not on the list? Add them to the production first with Manage Users in the same gear menu.
