Add a production to both StageStock and VirtualCallboard
Add a production once and turn it on for VirtualCallboard, StageStock or both, then choose who's on it.
You'll need the Add/Edit Productions and Assign Users permission: the one in Administrative - VirtualCallboard to turn on VirtualCallboard, and the one in Administrative - StageStock to turn on StageStock. Administrators usually have both.
Add a production
- Go to Administration > Production Administration.
- Click Add Production.
- Enter the Production Name and a Production Abbreviation, usually 2 to 5 letters. The abbreviation shows up around the site and in emails.
- Check Enable In VCB (VirtualCallboard), Enable In StageStock, or both. Many productions only need one.
- Under Assigned Users, check everyone who should be on the production. You can add more people later.
- If you enabled VirtualCallboard, use Receives Messages to Management to check the people who should get messages sent to management. You can change this later too.
- Optional: add a production logo with Choose Images.
- Click Add Production.
- If you enabled VirtualCallboard and assigned people, a Production Users Roles window opens. Choose each person's role for this production. These roles only apply to VirtualCallboard.
- Leave Send notification to users checked if you want them emailed, then click Save changes.
The production now appears under Active Productions.
If one of the two boxes can't be checked, your role doesn't have that product's permission, your site doesn't use StageStock (for Enable In StageStock), or (for Enable In VCB) your site already has as many active VirtualCallboard productions as its plan allows. StageStock productions have no such limit.
On a new VirtualCallboard site, add your productions before you add your users, so each new person can be assigned as they're created.
